Ayvacık Summer House Design

In the project, which started with the Pınarbaşı family's request for a summer house, the location of the building against the sun and land-mass relations were studied first. In the project, which was designed as a two-storey, permeable villa, the main carrier of the building was made of reinforced concrete and the walls were supported with local natural stone. To prevent the hot and windy climate of Çanakkale, special wooden shutters were designed in front of the existing joinery, and the entrance veranda was designed with a wooden pergola.
