Description

Located within a technopark campus in Istanbul, the Mubea office was redesigned to create a contemporary, functional, and professional working environment that reflects the company's corporate identity, operational requirements, and technical needs. Within the scope of the Teknopark Mubea Office Design Project, the existing office space was comprehensively evaluated, with architectural and technical improvements developed across flooring, ceiling finishes, furniture selection, electrical installations, lighting systems, and building automation. Throughout the design and implementation process, functionality, workplace comfort, and corporate identity were considered together to establish an integrated interior design approach suitable for a company operating within a technology and research-oriented environment.

The Mubea Office Design Project was developed with the objective of improving the functional potential of the existing space while creating a comfortable and efficient working environment suitable for long-term use. A clean, contemporary, and professional architectural language was adopted to respond to the requirements of an engineering and technology-oriented workplace. Rather than introducing excessive decorative elements, the design focused on material quality, ergonomics, technical infrastructure, and spatial organization. This approach ensured that the office could accommodate both individual working requirements and the company's broader operational needs.

One of the primary objectives was to establish a functional R&D company office interior that supports employee comfort and daily productivity. Different working areas were evaluated according to user circulation, furniture arrangements, and technical equipment requirements. The relationship between workstations, circulation routes, and shared spaces was carefully considered to create an efficient spatial organization. Through this approach, the technopark office design project was developed not merely as an aesthetic renovation but as a comprehensive architectural intervention aimed at improving the overall quality and performance of the existing workplace.

Furniture selection played an important role in defining the professional character of the interior. Products from the Bürotime office furniture collection were selected for their ergonomic qualities, durability, and suitability for contemporary corporate environments. Workstations, office chairs, and complementary furniture elements were planned in accordance with the spatial layout and overall design language. Furniture dimensions, workstation arrangements, and circulation distances were evaluated according to ergonomic principles, creating a working environment that supports comfort during extended periods of use. Within the Mubea Corporate Office Project, furniture became an integral component of both the functional organization and architectural identity of the space.

Carpet flooring was selected to provide a comfortable and visually consistent surface throughout the office. The use of carpet tiles contributes to acoustic comfort by helping reduce footstep noise and other movement-related sounds within the workplace. Durability, maintenance requirements, and suitability for intensive office use were also considered during the material selection process. As part of the engineering office interior design and implementation, flooring was therefore approached not only as an aesthetic component but also as a functional element supporting the overall performance of the working environment.

Decorative spray paint was applied to the ceiling surfaces to establish a renewed architectural character while maintaining a clean and contemporary appearance. The ceiling treatment was developed in coordination with the existing technical installations, creating a visually consistent surface that complements the overall interior concept. The selected finish was considered together with the flooring and furniture palette, establishing a balanced relationship between the main architectural surfaces. This approach contributed to the modern and professional atmosphere expected from a technology company office project.

An important stage of the project involved reviewing and improving the existing electrical infrastructure and office lighting systems. Electrical installations were inspected by the technical team, and necessary adjustments were carried out according to the requirements of the workstations and technical equipment. Power connections and electrical distribution were evaluated in relation to the office layout to ensure safe and organized operation. Through these improvements, the office project within the technopark achieved greater coordination between architectural planning and technical infrastructure.

Office lighting was also reconsidered according to the functional requirements of the working environment. Existing lighting fixtures and electrical connections were reviewed, and necessary technical improvements were implemented to provide suitable illumination across the workspace. Particular attention was given to achieving balanced lighting conditions that support visual comfort and daily working activities. The lighting strategy was developed to complement the architectural character of the interior while responding to the practical requirements of a contemporary corporate office.

In addition to the electrical and lighting improvements, the existing automation infrastructure was inspected and adjusted by the technical team. Necessary interventions were carried out to improve the compatibility of the systems with the updated office arrangement. Electrical installations, lighting, and automation were considered as interconnected components of the technical infrastructure, ensuring that the renewed interior could respond effectively to the company's operational requirements.

The principles of spatial organization, material quality, and technical coordination, which are essential in technopark executive office design, were also central to this project. Considering Mubea's engineering and manufacturing-oriented corporate structure, the interior design approach emphasized functionality, clarity, and professional workplace standards. In this respect, the project represents a comprehensive manufacturing company office design that combines technical requirements with employee comfort and contemporary architectural solutions.

The implementation process required particular attention due to the office's location within an operational technopark campus. All construction activities, material deliveries, technical interventions, and on-site coordination were organized in accordance with the building management's regulations and operational procedures. The implementation schedule and site activities were planned to comply with the technopark's requirements, ensuring that the project could progress in an organized manner within the existing building environment. In this context, the technocity interior implementation project involved not only architectural improvements but also coordination between technical teams, contractors, and facility management.

Developed and implemented by Fi Design Office, the Teknopark Mubea Office Design Project represents a comprehensive renovation of an existing corporate workplace through coordinated architectural and technical improvements. The integration of Bürotime office furniture, carpet tile flooring, decorative spray-painted ceiling surfaces, and improvements to electrical, lighting, and automation systems contributed to the overall functionality and quality of the interior.

Included within the Fi Design Office commercial and workplace interior design portfolio, the project serves as a technopark office interior design reference, demonstrating the integration of corporate identity, ergonomics, technical infrastructure, and implementation management. Through the Mubea Corporate Office Project, a contemporary and professional working environment was created to support employees' daily activities while meeting the operational requirements of an engineering and technology-oriented company.

The resulting office interior combines functional planning, durable materials, ergonomic furniture, and coordinated technical systems within a consistent architectural language. Completed in accordance with the technopark's management regulations and implementation requirements, the project provides Mubea with a comfortable, efficient, and long-lasting corporate workplace that reflects the company's professional identity and supports its evolving operational needs.
