Description

Located in Esenyurt, Istanbul, the two-storey office of Elektroges was designed to create a contemporary, functional, and refined working environment that reflects the company’s corporate identity. Within the scope of the Elektroges Office Design Project, the entire process—from interior design development to on-site implementation—was carried out by Fi Design Office. Spatial planning, custom-made furniture, lighting, HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, and data networks were coordinated as an integrated whole. By analysing the company’s working methods and technical requirements, a comprehensive Elektroges Headquarters Office Design was developed across two floors.

Elektroges’ brand identity became one of the main references in defining the interior design language. Rather than applying corporate colours directly and excessively, the colour palette was balanced with grey, anthracite, muted blue-grey, and natural wood tones to create a more timeless professional atmosphere. Smoked and grey-blue surfaces visible throughout the office were combined with glass partitions, custom cabinetry, and warm timber finishes. This approach allowed the technical and innovative identity expected from an electrical company office design project to be combined with a warmer and more user-oriented interior environment.

The two-storey office was organized to accommodate different working patterns and levels of privacy. Open-plan workspaces, executive offices, meeting rooms, reception areas, and shared spaces were connected through a clear and functional circulation system. Transparent and semi-transparent glass partitions were used to separate different departments while maintaining visual continuity throughout the office. Frosted bands applied to selected glass surfaces provide privacy without transforming the rooms into completely enclosed volumes. This balance between openness and privacy became one of the defining principles of the Elektroges office architecture project.

Meeting rooms and executive spaces were designed with a calmer and more representative character. Large meeting tables, custom storage units, service cabinetry, and wall-integrated furniture were designed specifically according to the dimensions of each room. Timber surfaces were used more extensively within these areas, providing a warmer contrast to the technical and contemporary character of the shared workspaces. Storage requirements, technical equipment, and everyday working habits were considered during the furniture design process, allowing bespoke solutions to be developed instead of relying entirely on standard office furniture.

A dedicated lounge area was also incorporated into the project to provide employees with an informal environment for relaxation, conversation, and less formal meetings. Darker tones distinguish this area from the primary workspaces, while a textured feature wall, integrated shelving, concealed lighting, and comfortable seating establish a more intimate atmosphere. The full-height library and display system was enhanced through integrated architectural lighting, while a decorative pendant fixture reinforces the lounge character. Through this approach, the energy company office design was conceived not simply as a collection of desks and meeting rooms, but as a comprehensive workplace supporting different forms of interaction throughout the day.

Lighting design played a particularly important role in the project, also establishing a subtle connection with Elektroges’ field of activity. Homogeneous and comfortable illumination levels were planned for general working areas, while different lighting scenarios were developed for executive offices, meeting rooms, reception areas, and the lounge. Linear lighting, concealed LED details, and decorative fixtures were coordinated with ceiling layouts, furniture dimensions, and circulation axes. Lighting was therefore considered not merely as a technical requirement but as an architectural component contributing directly to the identity of the Elektroges corporate office design and implementation.

The technical infrastructure of the office was developed simultaneously with the interior architecture. Electrical outlets, data connections, and internet infrastructure were planned according to the exact locations of workstations, meeting tables, and technical equipment. Considering the intensive use of computers and digital systems within a contemporary corporate office, all internet and data lines were integrated into the architectural planning from the beginning of the project. This prevented technical infrastructure from becoming a later addition and enabled cable routes, connection points, and furniture layouts to function as parts of a coordinated system.

HVAC requirements were similarly evaluated according to the spatial organization and occupancy levels of the two-storey office. Cassette-type air-conditioning units were positioned within open-plan workspaces and shared areas to provide balanced climate control. The locations of the units were coordinated with ceiling design, lighting layouts, furniture positions, and circulation zones. In this way, the technical requirements of climate control were resolved without compromising the visual continuity of the interior.

Within the scope of the Elektroges Office Implementation, furniture, lighting systems, HVAC equipment, electrical installations, and data infrastructure were coordinated during the construction process by Fi Design Office. Custom furniture and architectural details were developed according to actual site dimensions, allowing the design to respond precisely to the requirements of each space. Maintaining the original design decisions throughout implementation and coordinating different technical disciplines within a consistent architectural language were among the primary objectives of the project.

The Elektroges Corporate Office Design Implementation demonstrates how brand identity, workplace functionality, and technical infrastructure can be considered simultaneously within a contemporary office environment. Glass-partitioned offices establish visual continuity, custom-designed furniture responds directly to functional requirements, and the combination of muted corporate tones with natural wood surfaces creates a professional yet comfortable working atmosphere.

Included within the Fi Design Office commercial and workplace interior portfolio, the Elektroges Office Reference Project represents a comprehensive example of corporate office design in Esenyurt, Istanbul. The Elektroges Office Design Project combines two floors of working environments, glass-partitioned offices, bespoke furniture, executive and meeting spaces, a dedicated lounge, integrated lighting solutions, cassette-type HVAC systems, and coordinated electrical and data infrastructure.

The resulting Elektroges Company Headquarters Design creates a functional and contemporary workplace that reflects the company’s corporate identity while supporting employee comfort and long-term operational requirements. Through the integration of architecture, furniture, lighting, technology, and building services, the project establishes a coherent office environment in which aesthetic decisions and technical requirements function as complementary parts of the same design approach.
