YTU Gate Design

In the competition opened by Yıldız Technical University for the entrance gate and its surroundings, the monumental and radical form of the gate was considered to be a very qualified gate, and an installation was designed to establish a contrasting relationship with this gate. Considering the circulation and functional actions of the students, an additional texture was drawn on the surrounding ground. The waiting station behind the entrance was designed in a form that would create a common language with the gate. In addition, the flow and transportation within the university has been examined, and a tram axis that can serve within the university has been integrated into the university.
